Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Keepabley and its AI-assisted cosmetic restoration assessments.
Effective September 22, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Keepabley, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form an agreement between you and Keepabley.
2. Eligibility and use of the service
You must be legally able to enter into these terms. If you use Keepabley for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. Keepabley is not directed to children under 13.
Keepabley currently requires no account and charges no subscription or usage fee. Access may be limited, suspended, or changed as the MVP is tested.
3. What Keepabley provides
Keepabley allows you to upload photographs and optional item information. AI then provides an informational assessment of visible condition, possible materials, restoration potential, expected effort, and possible cosmetic cleaning or restoration steps.
Keepabley provides AI-assisted informational guidance only. It is not a professional restoration, repair, engineering, safety, environmental, medical, electrical, structural, automotive-mechanical, hazardous-material, or other professional service.
4. Permitted and prohibited use
You may use Keepabley for lawful, personal evaluation of physical items. You may not:
- submit content you do not have the right to use;
- use the service to violate law, privacy, intellectual-property, or other rights;
- attempt to bypass security, probe the service, overload it, or interfere with its operation;
- use automated means to scrape, copy, or extract the service except as permitted in writing;
- misrepresent an assessment as a professional inspection, certification, warranty, or appraisal; or
- rely on Keepabley for excluded high-risk decisions or activities.
5. Photographs and other content you submit
You retain your rights in content you submit. You give Keepabley and its service providers a limited permission to host, transmit, process, reproduce, and analyze that content as needed to provide, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
You are responsible for your content and must have all rights and permissions needed to submit it. Do not upload private, unlawful, infringing, dangerous, or unnecessary sensitive information. You understand that photographs and related information are processed by third-party infrastructure and AI providers as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. AI-generated information and limitations
AI output can be incomplete, outdated, misleading, or wrong. Keepabley’s AI may incorrectly identify an object, material, coating, finish, condition, damage, contamination, or appropriate restoration method. A photograph may hide defects, prior treatments, structural issues, or other facts that affect the result.
Material-confidence labels, follow-up questions, and photo requests help manage uncertainty, but they do not eliminate it. You are responsible for evaluating whether information is appropriate for your item and circumstances.
7. Restoration results and estimates
Restoration Potential, Condition, Difficulty, Time, Est. Cost, product suggestions, and expected results are estimates based on the submitted information. They are not inspections, appraisals, quotes, promises, or guarantees. Actual effort, cost, compatibility, appearance, damage, and results may differ substantially.
8. Safety and your responsibility
Before applying chemicals, heat, abrasives, tools, or restoration products, verify the material and product compatibility, read and follow product labels, manufacturer instructions, protective- equipment requirements, ventilation guidance, and all safety instructions. Test treatments in an inconspicuous area where appropriate. Stop if the material reacts unexpectedly or the work appears unsafe.
Do not rely on Keepabley for electrical, structural, gas, plumbing, hazardous-material, mold-remediation, mechanical-safety, vehicle-safety-system, medical, biohazard, or other high-risk decisions. Do not use cosmetic guidance as evidence that an item is safe, functional, uncontaminated, or suitable for use.
9. Professional assistance
Seek a qualified professional when an item may involve hidden damage, valuable or historically significant materials, uncertain coatings, hazardous substances, specialized tools, structural or functional failure, or risks to people or property. A Keepabley suggestion that professional help may not be needed is not a safety determination.
10. Marketplace and used-item assessments
Marketplace mode provides informational observations based only on submitted images and details. Keepabley does not authenticate listings, physically inspect items, verify seller statements, determine ownership, guarantee condition, establish market or resale value, or recommend whether an item should be purchased. Request additional photographs and answers from the seller, inspect the item when possible, and make your own purchasing decision.
11. Keepabley intellectual property
Keepabley and its licensors own the service, branding, software, design, and related materials, excluding content you submit and third-party materials. Subject to these terms, Keepabley gives you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose.
12. Third-party products and services
Keepabley may mention products, tools, manufacturers, sellers, websites, or service providers. Such references are informational and do not constitute endorsement, sponsorship, a compatibility guarantee, or a warranty. Third-party products and services are governed by their own terms, labels, instructions, and policies. Keepabley currently does not use affiliate links.
13. Availability and changes
The service may be unavailable, delayed, interrupted, inaccurate, or discontinued. Keepabley may modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, including during MVP testing, without guaranteeing continued availability of prior assessments or features.
14. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Keepabley is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, safety, or results. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Keepabley and its owners, operators, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, property, or use, arising from the service or your reliance on an assessment. Keepabley’s total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to use the service in the preceding 12 months or US $100. Applicable law may provide rights that cannot be limited.
16. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Keepabley and its owners, operators, affiliates, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the service, your submitted content, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.
17. Restriction or termination
Keepabley may restrict or end access if it reasonably believes you violated these terms, created risk, misused the service, or if suspension is needed for security, legal, or operational reasons. You may stop using the service at any time and clear locally stored information through your browser.
18. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws that apply to Keepabley and your use of the service, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires another forum or process. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
19. Changes to these terms
Keepabley may update these terms as the service evolves. The effective date at the top will be revised when changes are published. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
